BOTZ FLEMISH BLUE (MATT)??EARTHENWARE??
Firing range: 1020?? - 1100?? C
Stir the glaze thoroughly and apply the first coat on clean, dust-free biscuit ware with a brush (e.g. BOTZ 9005) before processing. Every glaze is finely tuned and has its individual consistency. Apply a second coat when the first is dry. Depending on the thickness you might want to apply a third coat.
The glaze can soon be handled when dry and is then easy to move the glazed piece to the kiln. For best results, allow the glaze to dry for a day. The ideal firing temperature for nearly all BOTZ brush-on glazes is about 1050??C with a 10???20 soak. This allows the glaze to become smoother and many effects come out more markedly.
Some of the Botz gazes can be fire to 1100??C
