Fays gold may be fired on glass and glazed ceramic.
For best results the lustre should be applied to clean glazed surfaces. Gold should be applied as evenly as possible and fairly thinly. After use brushes should be cleaned with Lustre Thinners. Firing should be done slowly in a well-ventilated kiln.
On earthenware firing temperature will be from 680-720ºC, (Cone 016)
While on china and porcelain the optimum temperature varies from 700-920ºC
