Hot Face Fiber blanket is made from high purity ceramic fibers with high-temperature characteristics. The high-temperature properties of Hot Face are the result of its high chemical purity and increased alumina content. Minimizing shrinkage and improving thermal stability permits Hot Face to be used to 1400ºC. Hot Face can be used as hot face lining in kilns.
