TIPS/APPLICATION
- BOTZ melting point reducer (SPS) is added to stoneware glazes to lower the melting point by 100°C
- Mix: 3 teaspoons SPS to 200ml glaze, except:
- 9870, 9873, 9898, 9899 only 1.5 teaspoons per 200ml
- Attention: Colors change!
- Ideal firing temperature: 1150°C / holding time 30 min.
