Mayco’s Stoneware Glazes are imported from America, so they are more expensive than glazes manufactured in Australia. The advantages of using Mayco products are that they are vibrant and offer consistent results between cones 5 - 10 in oxidation or reduction firing on stoneware clay bodies. These glazes offer a variety of finishes, glaze combinations, textures and endless possibilities. Artists will appreciate the consistency of performance and control of movement. Always test your chosen glaze combination before applying all over your piece.
Stir well. Apply to soft fired bisque (cone 04/06). Apply one, two or three coats depending on the result desired. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next coat. Fire to cone 5 - 10
